Roman Abramovich has made a huge investment this summer, and surprisingly it isn't a player, or the incoming manager Maurizio Sarri.

The Russian billionaire has just splashed the cash on a new £30 million penthouse apartment on the Chelsea waterfront, which is currently being kitted out.

This investment will be welcome news for Chelsea fans, who had concerns over the future of the owner who has brought many trophies to Chelsea.

Abramovich recently had problems with his UK visa, and there were many rumours about Roman Abramovich selling Chelsea, and quitting English football all together. Earlier this summer Roman Abramovich rejected a £2 billion bid for Chelsea Football Club from Britain's richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Abramovich's recent investment has assured that he is not done with Chelsea, but is hungry for more success and will spend all the necessary money to keep Chelsea at the top of English Football.
