Chelsea took on Arsenal at the Emirates last night in a four goal thriller, in which both teams shared the points. Jack Wilshere opened the scoring in the 63rd minute, smashing it high at Courtois' near post, nothing Courtois could do. Hazard then won, and converted a penalty to equalise just 4 minutes later. Very late on Marcos Alonso seemed to have won Chelsea the match, making a run across the box, and popping up near the front post to tap in Zappacosta's low cross, a real strikers finish. Bellerin equalised with just two minutes of added time to play, punishing Chelsea for letting Arsenal put pressure on them in the last ten minutes.
TALKING POINTS: Jack Wilshere Dive: In my opinion Jack should've been sent off. Wilshere who was already on a yellow card, dived on the edge of the box, trying to win a free kick in a very good position, but Anthony Taylor opted to not give a free kick, or a booking for the dive.
Hazard penalty: Shouldn't have been a penalty either in my opinion. Bellerin kicks Hazard on the bottom of his foot, arriving late. Hazard goes down inside the box but is holding his shin, which does make me think that it was a dive. Either way two goals scored from situations that shouldn't have occurred if the referee had played it differently.
Courtois' Performance: World Class. Making sensational saves on more than one occasion. The first a fingertip save from Sanchez's striker which pushed it onto the inside of his post, bounces along the goal line and comes back out off the other post, where Courtois can then gather. He also made some great saves when 1 on 1 with Arsenal's striker Alexandre Lacazette, and kept Ozil's very good strike from outside of the box out.
Morata's Performance: Morata did not play well last night in any way. Missing three very good chances, including one very early on in the game, and one very late on in the game. The first he was slipped in behind Arsenal's inexperienced back line, and 1 on 1 with Petr Cech, he tries to roll it past Cech but he misses the target completely. The second, much more difficult, he uses his strength very well to get past the Arsenal defender, and is through on goal, but still under challenge, he tries to dink Petr Cech, but the shot goes just wide of the top right corner. Morata's last good chance came straight after Bellerin's equaliser, the ball is bouncing as he is 1 on 1 with Petr Cech again, he hits it hard, but straight at Cech who makes the save easily, but can only push it as far as Zappacosta, who hits it cleanly on the rebound and hits the bar.
